The Roseate - Delhi Weekend Getaway - Guruji's Ashram from Sacred Games 2

Scorching summer, heat waves at its peak, we decided to spend a relaxing weekend at one of the best luxury hotels in Delhi - The Roseate! And this is the place where the famous Guruji's ashram from Sacred games 2 was shot ! Majority of the scenes are shot from here. Do visit this place and decipher which all scenes are from Roseate and enjoy your stay.

Roseate, an urban oasis with stupendous architecture, luscious green lawns and water bodies crisscrossing the entire property. It indeed is a quintessential escape from the hectic city life and rewarded us with the much needed break ... As I strolled along the water passages, capturing moments, I almost felt entering a paradise. Sharing some detailed reviews on the property and services.

As the name suggests, its entrance is quite grand! I would rather call it a maze - wide open, zig-zag, mysterious passage that leads you to the reception post the baggage scan counter which is a mid stop. We were guided to our room (had booked a king size garden view room) through a royal long corridor. And in my words, you enter heaven! Wide spacious room with contemporary furnishings, chic oval shaped bathtub, separate shower area, luxury Kama toiletries, room controls through leading technology operated via an Ipad and lush green view, is no less than a royal treat. We ordered some snacks, while we watched some web series. Around 5, we headed towards Aheli Spa. I decided to go with the traditional Bali and my husband tried the Indian Ayurveda spa. Truly it was quite an experience and we relaxed to the core. The staff was quite cordial and we had chamomile tea post our session, explored the property, had deeper conversations and headed to the Kiyan restaurant for an early dinner. Authentic delicious food accompanied by an excellent service, we couldn't have asked for more. Next morning, we energized with a yoga session along the beautiful water bodies and later had a scrumptious buffet breakfast. Packed our bags and headed back home. I would sum it to be a royal package wherein one can leave the worldly worries and REJUVENATE!

Radisson Blu Bengaluru - Experience and Review !

Namma Bengaluru!

A 4 night stay at Radisson was another high of my trip. Chic building with grand interiors, modern art and decor, highly courteous staff and an apt location makes it one of the best hotels.  Sharing my experience and some pics.

Distance - Radisson Blu is situated on the outer ring road of Bengaluru, Marathalli and is approx. 45 Km from the Kempegowda international airport. It is built in the heart of the city and at a junction that joins the major IT areas - Sarjapur, Whitefield and Outer Ring Road.

Experience - Exemplary experience during my 3 day 4 night stay at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and full of amenities. Decor was quite modern and well placed. Sheets were absolutely clean and properly tucked. Mini bar was full with quality products along with mineral water bottles. Iron board was provided, while one can avail laundry facility too (extra charges). Biotique toiletries were placed and if you wish to use more, house keeping staff can be contacted for the same. Wifi was quite effective and the hotel even provided LAN wire in case your system refuses the Wifi connection๐Ÿ˜‚ Air condition was working well. View from the room was fabulous especially during the night. I could see the hustle bustle of the city while I enjoyed my drink. Staff was quite courteous and helpful and there is a proper guided tour of your room where in the function of every switch is explained ๐Ÿ˜€ This property also has a gym, wellness spa and salon and an outdoor swimming pool. Usage of gym and pool is complimentary while the charges for spa and salon are provided in a booklet within the room. My stay included free buffet breakfast (At Melange) and it was quite delicious. There are 3 restaurants - Melange(International & Continental), Shao (Chinese cuisine), Saffron (North Indian touch), Lobby Bar and Bengaluru Grill House. I also observed that this hotel provides free office pick up and drop if it is within 10km radius.

On Women's day, the hotel staff did an extra effort by placing chocolate boxes for female travelers. It was quite a sweet gesture and I simply loved it. These were home made chocolates and prepared in different shapes and color. I got a complimentary box during my checkout as well. Double Treat !๐Ÿ’“

Vistara Airlines - Flight Experience and Review

Hey Folks,

Quite exhausted by the chill winter breeze of Delhi, I decided to travel to Bengaluru for couple of days during the first week of March. I was super excited to experience some sun and enjoy the initial summers. As I was bouncing off the walls packing my luggage (summery tops and shorts) and booking hotels and travel, I thought of experiencing Vistara airlines this time. Had not traveled with them before and thought of taking a shot at it. Trust me the best decision was Vistara in this entire trip as Bengaluru welcomed me with shocking 37 degrees. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I had not packed my sunscreen and was all set for tanning. ๐Ÿ˜ It was quite an experience and every passenger received a perfume sample from SKINN by Titan, such a sweet gesture by purple hued Vistara Airlines! Sharing my airline experience in details and some pictures.

  • Flight Check-in Experience – Excellent – I had already done the web check-in (which was quite simple) and was directed to the baggage drop counters. The boarding passes were issued and the bags were dropped.

  • Boarding and Departure – Excellent – Boarding started timely and the takeoff was smooth. The arrival at both the airports was on time. Despite of cloudy weather and turbulence on my return journey, we managed to land timely. Kudos to the pilot!

  • In-flight Experience (Seating, Legroom, Crew Hospitality, Cleanliness) – Excellent - Seating was comfortable. Legroom was spacious and one could move easily between the seats. Crew was quite courteous, responsive and helpful. Cleanliness was well maintained both inside the plane as well as the washrooms.

  • Menu (Food and Beverage) – Outstanding. They had both vegan and non-veg options. My both the meals were mouth watering delicious dishes and it was absolutely a treat. Food was served hot and timely so that we could enjoy it as well.

  • In-flight Entertainment – Good. In-flight magazine was a good read. Had lot of articles and quiz as well. The Vistara world app can be accessed from your devices. The airlines do promote downloading it in advance to your flight for smooth experience. It has a collection of hollywood and bollywood movies and tv shows etc. and the content is refreshed every month. There is also a live moving map display that allows you to track as you fly.

Paris - City of Love - 4 Days Itinerary

With Valentine week, love is in the air and I thought it is the perfect time for me to pen my travel experience from recent Paris trip. Paris is so rightly called the city of love ๐Ÿ’—crisscrossed by the river Seine that adds to its beauty. Major global center for art, fashion and culture, the iconic Eiffel tower is the prime center of attraction. This place features from kid’s favorite Disneyland to the spiritual Notre Dame cathedral to the majestic palace of Versailles – a complete package for a vacation! We stayed at IBIS Styles Paris place d’italie - lovely hotel, comfortable stay and close proximity to the metro. We spent around 4 days in this pretty city – continue reading for detailed review.

Day 1

We reached Paris in the afternoon. After a quick check-in we grabbed quick bites and dozed off as we were really tired due to the over-night bus journey from Barcelona to Paris. We had already booked our visit to the Eiffel tower for this date and our slot was in the evening. We had bought tickets with Lift access to the top. For more details and booking please visit their official website - https://www.toureiffel.paris/en Got dressed in my favorite dress and we headed to this monument and I was awestruck by its magnanimous beauty. One can get a bird’s eye view of this city from the top and you will never feel like returning back. There is a restaurant as well within the tower at first floor to satiate the hungry stomachs! Also there is a gift shop for you to buy souvenirs for your near and dear ones. After exploring the place, we went ahead to buy some crepes for our sweet tooth. As we were soaking the city’s beauty, the clock struck 9 and the Eiffel tower was lit in sparkling lights for about 5 minutes. Do check out the video above. We strolled across the streets, got clicked with the graffiti’s and finally reached back around midnight ๐Ÿ˜Š

Tip - Preferably book your slot in advance and choose time closer to sunset to witness both sunlight and darkness.

Day 2
After a scrumptious breakfast, we headed towards Arc De Triomphe. (Indians might get a feeling of India Gate ๐Ÿ˜‰) It was a bright sunny day and we clicked loads of pics standing in the divider of the road !๐Ÿ˜Hopping on and off the city bus we reached Pont Alexandre III. This bridge is known from its ornate architecture in Paris. Strolling further we reached Place de la Concorde and it is one of the largest public squares in Paris. Right across the monument, is the Tuileries Garden which became a public park after French revolution. We roamed around the park, basked in the sun admiring nature's beauty. After spending for around 30-40 minutes, we approached on the other end of the garden and there stood the famous Louvre Museum which boasts of the Leonardo da Vinci's art work - Mona Lisa. Signature glass pyramid marked its entrance and we headed to buy tickets. We spent for about 1-2 hours in the museum appreciating the great art work from renowned painters across the globe. We were tired by the evening and opted for a seine river cruise for a relaxed evening.

Day 3
Cycling was on our agenda today! We both were highly fascinated by different cycle operators around the french capital. We chose Donkey Republic and took 2 cycles near the Luxembourg garden stand. It was left hand riding for our first time and we spent good 1 hour with our colorful bright orange bikes. Later we proceeded to the famous Notre Dame cathedral. We spent for about an hour inside appreciating the French Gothic architecture and the colorful rose window. Offered prayers and visited the entire chapel. We had evening to ourselves. Spent time strolling along the Seine river, shopped till we dropped from Le Forum des Halles and Le Bon Marche, relished the Amorino ice-cream, viewed sunset from the love locked bridges and returned to our hotel. Breaking boundaries we expanded our reach to try and experience the french culture.

Day 4
We had planned the entire day for our Disneyland venture. There are 2 parks and we weren’t sure of which one would be better so we bought tickets for both the parks (DisneyLand Paris and Walt Disney Studios) Lol ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ There are 5 magical themed lands in Disneyland and 4 action packed zones in Walt Disney studio. Ideally 3 days are recommended but since we were running short on time, we planned to cover all in a day. We relived our childhood in every way possible and experienced the fireworks as well ((Fireworks @DisneyLand Paris)) Appending some pictures and the map featuring highlights of both the Parks.

Paris had completely lived up to our expectations and we enjoyed our stay to every bit. Had an early morning flight and we returned back to New Delhi carrying loads of memories from our Euro trip. It was a trip of our lifetime.

Hope you enjoyed reading this blog and is all set to plan yours. ✈
Happy Vacations!
